Pick Mailtrack if
If you send mail merges, track documents or collect signatures from Gmail, use Outlook or want tracking on your phone, Mailtrack covers those and Pagewing doesn't.
No ads in your signature. Opens you can trust. Pagewing puts a Tracked switch next to Send in Gmail, shows one check mark when your email is sent and two once it's opened, and records every open with its time, mail app and device. The same subscription also covers the screen recorder, screenshots, PDF editor, short links and text templates.
Free plan, every toolPremium: $16.67/month, billed yearlyOr $20/month, cancel anytime
On its own, Mailtrack may well cost less than Pagewing. Pagewing pays off when it replaces several apps. Tick the ones you pay for and put in what you pay.
Filled in with each app's published US price for one person, billed monthly where it's offered, as of October 2026. Change any amount to what you actually pay.

If you send mail merges, track documents or collect signatures from Gmail, use Outlook or want tracking on your phone, Mailtrack covers those and Pagewing doesn't.
If you send from Gmail in Chrome and want to know when your emails are read, Pagewing records every open with its history on the free plan, never adds a line to your signature, and leaves out the automatic opens that make other trackers look busier than your inbox is. Premium tracks links on every email, nudges you when nobody replies and adds reports, and the same subscription replaces your screen recorder, PDF editor, screenshot tool and link shortener.
Checked against Mailtrack's own pages in October 2026. Plans and features change: check there before you decide. Weighing more than these two? See the best email tracker extensions for gmail.
There's nothing to export or upload. Emails you already sent with Mailtrack carry its tracking and keep reporting to Mailtrack, so Pagewing tracks the emails you send from now on.
The full guide to switching from Mailtrack: what comes over, what doesn't and the plan it needs
Every tool is unlocked with one plan, in one side panel, with one sign-in.

Not on its own. Mailtrack's own tier is $2.99 a month and Mailsuite, the one with unlimited link tracking and the full history, is $5.99 a month billed monthly, both less than Pagewing. On the free plan, Pagewing records every open with its history and Mailtrack only the first. Pagewing pays off when you also pay for a screen recorder, a PDF editor, a screenshot tool or a link shortener: one subscription covers all of them. Put your own numbers in the calculator above.
No. Emails you sent with Mailtrack carry its tracking pixel, so their opens keep going to Mailtrack and there's nothing for Pagewing to import. For a copy, Mailtrack exports its history as CSV on its Mailsuite plan. Pagewing tracks the emails you send from now on; turn Mailtrack off first so each email doesn't carry two trackers.
No line in your signature and no ad, on any plan. Tracking works through an invisible image in the email, as it does in Mailtrack, and you can turn it off for any email with the switch next to Send or keep addresses and domains on a never-track list.
Your own views and opens by mail servers, security scanners and Apple's delivery prefetch are left out of the count. Opens through Apple Mail's privacy protection are labelled as possibly automatic instead of counted as a sure read, so two check marks mean someone opened it.
Yes. On the free plan, links are tracked on 10 emails a month; Premium tracks links on every email, with a notification for each click.
No. Pagewing stores each tracked email's subject, recipients and open times, never the message itself.
No. Pagewing tracks the emails you send from Gmail on the web in Chrome. Emails sent from the Gmail phone app or other mail apps aren't tracked; Mailtrack has an Outlook add-in and phone apps for that.
Yes. Every tool works on the free plan, with a few limits. Premium removes the limits and adds features like share links, PDF signatures and cloud storage, for every tool at once. Pro adds Office conversions, bookmark cleanups and AI summaries and branding for recordings on top. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.
Every tool works on the free plan, so run it next to what you have now, then keep the subscriptions you still need.
