Export your collections from Session Buddy as a JSON file, drop it into Pagewing, and each collection becomes a saved session with its windows and tabs. Sessions are kept in your account, so they're on every browser you sign in to. Tabs & sessions is one tool in a side panel that also has a screen recorder, full-page screenshots and short links.

Who it's for

Move from Session Buddy to Pagewing
Each collection as a saved session, with its windows, tabs and pinned tabs.
- In Session Buddy, click the gear icon and choose Export.
- Choose all collections or the ones you selected, pick JSON as the format, and save the file.
- In Pagewing, open Tabs & sessions on the web, press Import and drop the file.
- Check how many sessions and tabs it found, then import.
What doesn't
- Session Buddy's history: its export covers saved collections only
- Tab groups: their tabs come over without the group
Import from Session Buddy You'll see what comes over before anything is added.
What to expect
Tabs & sessions in Pagewing, next to Session Buddy
Where Pagewing is as good or better, and where it's different. Where Session Buddy does more, we say so.
As good or better
- Sessions are kept in your account as well as this browser, so a reset or a new computer doesn't lose them.
- Restore a session in a new window or this one with its window names, open big sessions unloaded so Chrome doesn't stall, and search every saved tab by title or address.
- Automatic snapshots of your open windows, and of whatever was open when Chrome closed.
- One subscription for your session manager and the rest of your browser tools.
Different
- The free plan keeps 25 saved sessions; Premium removes the limit.
- Pagewing needs a free account, since that's where your sessions are kept.

Questions
Something else? Write to us from the Contact link below.
Which export format should I pick?
JSON. It's the one that keeps each collection's windows and pinned tabs.
What if I have more than 25 collections?
The free plan keeps 25 saved sessions, so the importer brings in the first ones that fit and says how many didn't. Premium removes the limit.
Does my Session Buddy history come over?
No. Session Buddy's export covers saved collections only. Pagewing starts its own snapshots of your windows once it's installed.
Is Pagewing free?
Yes. Every tool works on the free plan, with a few limits. Premium removes the limits and adds features like share links, PDF signatures and cloud storage, for every tool at once. Pro adds Office conversions and bookmark cleanups on top. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.
