Switching from Mailtrack

Switch from Mailtrack in a few minutes.
One subscription for the whole stack.

No ads in your signature. Opens you can trust. Pagewing adds a Tracked switch next to Send in Gmail, records every open with its time, mail app and device, and leaves out the automatic ones. Open tracking is free, in one side panel that also has a screen recorder, a PDF editor and short links.

Who it's for

Made for you if…

  • You track the emails you send from Gmail on your computer.
  • You want every open recorded, not only the first.
  • You pay for other browser tools and want one subscription.
How to switch

Switch from Mailtrack to Pagewing

There's nothing to export or upload. Emails you already sent with Mailtrack carry its tracking and keep reporting to Mailtrack, so Pagewing tracks the emails you send from now on.

  1. Install Pagewing from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with Google or your email.
  2. Turn Mailtrack off so your emails don't carry two trackers: in Gmail, open the Mailtrack menu at the top right and untick Mailtrack enabled, or remove Mailtrack on Chrome's Extensions page.
  3. Write an email in Gmail, check that the switch next to Send reads Tracked, and send it as usual.
  4. In the email tracker's settings on the Pagewing website, add the addresses and domains you never want tracked to the never-track list.

What works the same

  • Tracking from Gmail's compose window, with a switch next to Send
  • A notification when your email is opened or a link is clicked
  • Link click tracking and a reminder when nobody replies
  • Every tracked email with its history, search and CSV export on the Pagewing website

What stays with Mailtrack

  • Emails you sent with Mailtrack: their opens keep going to Mailtrack
  • Your Mailtrack history: its CSV export, on Mailtrack's Mailsuite plan, keeps a copy
Open the email tracker Nothing to export or upload: you're set up in a few minutes.
What to expect

Email tracker in Pagewing, next to Mailtrack

Where Pagewing is as good or better, and where it's different. Where Mailtrack does more, we say so.

Different

  • Chrome and Gmail on the web only: Mailtrack also works in Outlook and has phone apps.
  • No mail merge or mass email.
  • No PDF tracking or signature requests.

Questions

Something else? Write to us from the Contact link below.

Can I bring my Mailtrack history?

No. Emails you sent with Mailtrack carry its tracking, so their opens keep going to Mailtrack and there's nothing for Pagewing to import. For a copy, Mailtrack exports its history as CSV on its Mailsuite plan. Pagewing tracks every email you send from now on.

Can I keep Mailtrack on as well?

It's better not to. With both on, each email carries two trackers and you get two sets of notifications. Untick Mailtrack enabled in its menu in Gmail, or remove it from Chrome.

Is the email tracker free?

Yes. Open tracking with every open recorded, notifications and the never-track list are free, and so is link click tracking on 10 emails a month. Link tracking on every email and no-reply reminders come with Premium.

Does it work in the Gmail app on my phone?

No. Tracking is added when you send from Gmail on the web in Chrome with Pagewing installed. Emails you send from the phone app or other mail apps aren't tracked.

Is Pagewing free?

Yes. Every tool works on the free plan, with a few limits. Premium removes the limits and adds features like share links, PDF signatures and cloud storage, for every tool at once. Pro adds Office conversions and bookmark cleanups on top. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.
