Screenshots

A screenshot tool with a real editor

Full page, any scrolling panel, and an editor that does steps and blur. Pagewing also captures the visible area or an area you select, and opens every capture in the editor here.

Every kind of capture

Each capture mode has its own keyboard shortcut, and a 3, 5 or 10 second timer leaves time to open a menu or hover first. Full-page screenshots are free and stitched together for you, with sticky headers shown only once.

Annotate and blur

Add arrows, text, shapes, highlights and numbered steps, crop to what matters, and blur anything private before you share.

Backgrounds that look finished

Put a capture on a gradient background with rounded corners and a shadow, ready for a slide, a doc or a post.

A library you can search

Keep your screenshots in a searchable library in your browser, or in your Pagewing cloud with a subscription, and download them as PNG, JPG or WebP, or as a PDF stamped with the page's address and the date (several screenshots in one PDF, too).

Share it as a link

With a subscription, get a link to any screenshot that works for a day, a week, a month or for good, with an optional password. Chat apps show the image, your edits show up on the link, and you can turn it off any time.

How it works

Quick in the extension, complete on the web

The quick part runs in the Pagewing side panel, next to the page you're on. The full version is this page, on any computer you sign in on.

In the Pagewing extension

Capture from the side panel or a shortcut: the view, an area, the full page or a scrolling panel. Copy it straight to the clipboard or save it to your Downloads folder.

On this page

Open any capture in the editor, mark it up, and find older ones in your library from any computer you sign in on.

Questions about Screenshots

Something else? Write to us.

Is the Pagewing screenshot tool free?

Yes. It works on the free plan with a few limits, and you sign in with Google or your email, with no card. Captures of the view, an area or the full page are free; scrolling-panel captures, cloud storage and share links come with Premium. One subscription unlocks every Pagewing tool; see the pricing page for what each plan includes.

Can it take a screenshot of a whole web page?

Yes. Full-page capture scrolls the page and stitches it into one image, showing sticky headers only once. It can also capture just one scrolling panel, such as a chat or a feed.

Can I share a screenshot as a link?

Yes, with Premium or Pro. Choose Share link after capturing (or press the link button on any capture) and the link is copied, ready to paste. You pick how long it works, add a password if you like, see how many times it was viewed, and turn it off whenever you want.

Where are my screenshots saved?

In your Pagewing account, so you can edit and download them from any browser, or, if you set the extension to, straight to your Downloads folder on your computer.
