Pagewing vs Clockify

Paying for Clockify and more?
One subscription covers the stack.

Start a timer from the side panel, the toolbar or a button on the issue you're working on, then fix up timesheets, report by project and client and turn billable hours into an invoice. The same subscription also covers the screen recorder, screenshots, PDF editor, short links and text templates you'd otherwise pay for one by one.

Switching from Clockify?

Bring what you have

Every time entry in the report, with its description, project, client, task, tags and billable mark.

  1. In Clockify, open Reports, then Detailed, and set the date range to the whole period you want.
  2. Click Export and choose CSV. CSV export needs a paid Clockify plan; Clockify's free plan exports PDF only.
  3. In Pagewing, open the time tracker on the web, go to Settings, press Import and drop the file.
  4. Check the preview, then import. Projects, clients and tags Pagewing doesn't have yet are made as it imports.

Is Pagewing cheaper than Clockify?

Not on its own. Clockify's free plan tracks time at no cost, and its Standard plan, the one with targets, rounding and invoicing, is $6.99 a seat a month billed monthly, less than Pagewing. Invoices need Pagewing Pro, our higher plan. Pagewing pays off when you also pay for a screen recorder, a PDF editor, a screenshot tool or a link shortener: one subscription covers all of them. Use the calculator above with what you actually pay.

Can I bring my Clockify history?

Yes, with Premium. In Clockify, export the detailed report as CSV (a paid Clockify plan; its free plan exports PDF only), then drop the file into the time tracker's settings on the Pagewing website. Every entry comes over with its description, start, end, project, client, task, tags and billable mark, and projects or clients Pagewing doesn't have yet are made as it imports. Toggl Track reports import the same way.

Does Pagewing start a timer from Jira, Trello or GitHub?

Yes. Turn on the Start timer button for Jira Cloud, Trello, GitHub, GitLab, Asana or Linear in the time settings, and it shows next to the title of your issues, cards and tasks. It fills in the issue's key and title, picks the project named like the repository or board, and shows the running time.

Does the timer keep working offline?

Yes. Entries are saved in your browser first and synced when the connection is back, so you can start and stop a timer without a connection, and you stay signed in while you use it.

Can I invoice my clients from tracked time?

Yes, on Pro. Pick a client and a period, and their billable time becomes an invoice with your rates, tax and discounts that you can edit, save as PDF and mark sent and paid. Time that's on an invoice isn't billed twice.

Can I export my timesheets?

Yes, on every plan: reports export to CSV, Excel (XLSX) and PDF. Reports free cover up to a month at a time; Premium reports over any range.

Does Pagewing track time for a team?

No. Pagewing tracks one person's time: there are no team workspaces, approvals or timesheets for others. If you need those, Clockify is built for them.

Is Pagewing free?

Yes. Every tool works on the free plan, with a few limits. Premium removes the limits and adds features like share links, PDF signatures and cloud storage, for every tool at once. Pro adds Office conversions, bookmark cleanups and AI summaries and branding for recordings on top. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.
